One of the archipelago's oldest shipping companies with 14 vessels designed for parties, pleasure trips and regular transportation. We promise you the best arrangements at sea - for you and your colleagues, customers and friends. Also part of the Blidösund group is the exclusive charter company Charter Stockholm, with its two well-known party and conference ships, m/s Riddarholmen and m/s Riddarfjärden. Here we can serve up to 130 guests in the same dining room.

With its rich tradition and hundred-year history The Blidösund Company is at your service for all types of events at sea. We present the three genuine steamboats s/s Blidösund, s/s Norrskär and s/s Storskär, with their brass, mahogany, steamboat steaks and dancing on the aft-deck. The two large party and conference ships, m/s Riddarholmen and m/s Riddarfjärden are owned by The Blidösund Company's subsidiary, Charter Stockholm but are booked and operated solely by The Blidösund Company.
With the completely renovated and modern m/s Sjögull and m/s Sjöbris, the whole archipelago is within reach, with dinner and dancing onboard and seals and sea-eagles visible through the windows. The well-known Djurgårds ferries take you and all of your guests wherever in town you would like to go. Furthermore we have our own private island in the archipelago - Siarö fort, for conferences, parties and accommodation.

In the lounges on our older archipelago vessels we cater for up to 130 guests at one sitting. After dinner we are happy to arrange dancing to the sounds of one of the orchestras well-known from our music cruises. With the fast and modern m/s Sjögull and m/s Sjöbris, the whole archipelago is open to us. Onboard these ship we can serve up to 120 guests in the same dining room.

Outer archipelago tours

The Blidösund Company has long specialised in exclusive tours of the outer archipelago. With the m/s Sjögull and m/s Sjöbris we can quickly and safely reach exciting islands such as Stora Nassa, Gillöga, Röder and Fredlarna. Skärgårdsstiftelsen and Jambo Tours are some of our satisfied customers who return to us year after year..

Transportation – perhaps with a drink at sunset

Water provides a link for many of Stockholm's restaurants, conference establishments and hotels. We pick up our guests at the nearest quay and serve a drink on the sun-deck on the way to the evening's event in town or the archipelago. No group is too large for the Blidösund Company's twelve vessels.

Siarö fort

Right in the middle of Vaxholm and Furusund, 1 ½ hours by boat from Stockholm, lies The Blidösund Company's private island, complete with its own fort! Here we welcome conferences, parties and adventure. Up to 40 guests can stay overnight, use the sauna, play boule and relax in privacy. Read more about Siarö fort here!
