MS Sjögull & MS Sjöbris
The sisterships m/s Sjögull and m/s Sjöbris are two of the Stockholm archipelago's largest boats. On the spacious sundeck, 150 guests can enjoy their welcome drinks and see the Old Town through the heat haze, when the stern turns towards Vaxholm and the islands out there.
During the winter of 2007, both vessels were rebuilt to the Stockholm archipelago's highest standards. The main lounges were completely redecorated and re-equipped with the latest sound and light technology. A new spacious 'drinks and conversation' lounge was built on the upper deck and this is connected to the main lounge via a beautiful spiral staircase. On the light and airy main deck, we serve dinner for up to 120 guests. Here everyone can enjoy good food, drinks and the view, from all points of the compass. After dinner, we prepare for dancing. Disco or live music - the choice is yours. And in the conversation lounge on the upper deck can be found those that wish to take things a little easier.
Sjögull and Sjöbris are not just comfortable, they are also fast. That means that we get into teh real archipelago, even if the boat journey only lasts for a couple of hours. The Blidösund Company has extensive experience of arranging trip to destinations in the outer archipelago. Journeys through difficult to navigate waters to islands, rocks and lighthouses that few are priviledged to visit. The speed means that the ship is well-suited for transportation alone – to classic destinations such as Vaxholm, Saltsjöbaden, Furusund and Sandhamn or why not Mälaren, where historic destinations such as Birka, Mariefred and Gripsholm await.
The charter price is 5 200 kr per hour (exclusive 6 % V.A.T.), calculated from the vessel's usual dock in Nybroviken. The minimum hire period is three hours for charters that finish latest 5pm and four hours for evening charters. Between 15th September and 31st December we offer a 20% discount on the charter price.
