Getting here by boat
In the summertime you can travel to Siarö fort on The Blidösunds Shipping Company's boats m/s Sjögull and m/s Sjöbris from Strömkajen in Stockholm, from Vaxholm and from Östanå ferry station, north of Åkersberga. The journey from Stockholm scarcely takes two hours. From Östanå it takes about 10 minutes. The SL-bus 621 goes to and from Östanå ferry station from Danderyd's hospital and Åkersberga as well as from Norrtälje. At Östanå there is parking available.
Water taxi
Another alternative is to travel by water taxi from, for example, Östanå ferry station, to the north of Åkersberga. You can take the SL-bus 621 and 626 to the ferry station from Danderyd's hospital and Åkersberga. If you want to drive, then you will find available at the ferry station. The boat trip to Siarö fort takes about ten minutes. The best way for groups to book water taxis is through us. We recommend that smaller groups ring one of the following water taxi companies direct. Guest harbour
Naturally you can also come in you own boat. The guest harbour is located in the southern part of Kyrkogårdsön.
